Mini Haul Series -

Hello.

I first want to start by saying sorry for the lack of posts.

I haven't been finding much inspiration lately.

Also, my nails have been very fragile and peeling recently and my cuticles have been getting very dry thanks to the cold weather that is quickly approaching here on the east coast.

But, that's enough with my silly excuses!

Either way, I haven't been posting. :(

However, I have been shopping. So.. I decided I would do a 'mini haul series' while I work on getting my creative juices flowing again.

Get excited!

Today, I will start with a polish I purchased awhile ago and actually featured it in a guest post for Jessie at Nailed It NZ. You can find that here.

It is called My Very First Knockwurst by OPI.

It's a very pretty light pink leaning purple/beige color.

I think it would be flattering on any skin tone.

Illegal Leopard

Hey everyone!

I hope your week is going well! I'm going to New York City this weekend! YAY! :D

I'm too excited for words.

Anyway, today I did a wild leopard manicure with red polish as a base.

I don't have much to say for this one other than I love how it turned out

and it is my favorite manicure I've done so far!

I hope you enjoy!

I used NYC Big Apple Red (interesting, haha), Zoya Avery, and a no name OPI black :P

Hello again!

How are you doing today? :)

So, I saw today's brilliant manicure in Allure magazine and fell in love!
I thought.. "WOAH buddy, how creative and different!"

They are the bar-code nails!

Therefore, I just had to try it for myself.

I must say, she made it look much easier than it really was!

It took me two tries! I get frustrated easily, so this was annoying me. Plus it was sticky.

To do this cute design you will need: nail polish of choice, bar codes from a magazine, vodka (shots optional), PATIENCE, and a top coat. :)

PS: I would not recomment ThreeOlives Loopy. :p

First you will paint your nails the desired color. I chose OPI Steady as She Rose.

Once that is completely dry, you will dunk the bar code into the vodka then place on the nail, press the bubbles out, and hold in place for a few seconds.

Then you will peel the bar code off slowly. Voila!
