I've Got The Blues

Hey there!
I am here with a new manicure filled with blue and flecks of beautiful color! For a base I used Essie Mezmerised and once that dried I put a coat of Essie Shine of the Times on top! I really love the effect this polish gives the nails. It makes them shine many different colors. This is my first flake polish and I am so glad I got it! It shines a little green, pink, orange, and peach depending on what kind of lighting you have. It's really pretty!

Hot Pink Racing

Hey hey! I hope everyone is having a beautiful day!
I just did my nails using Julep Meryl because I could't wait to try out this beatiful grey!
I also used a polish called Screamin' Fuschia by Funky Finger (can't remember where its from!)
for the hot pink racing stripe! I almost didn't add anything to the grey because it looked so chic alone so that's why
I didn't go overboard. I just did something very simple with it so I could still enjoy the grey for the most part.
Now I want to say just how much I liked the Julep polish! It was opaque with just one coat, but I used two just to
darken the color a bit. I think this is my first actual creme color and I struggle a bit with getting it on my nails smoothy, but I managed and I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I want more! :)
Okay, okay... here's my nails:

First Julep Maven Box!

I received my first ever Julep Maven box in the mail this morning! I was so excited to get it seeing how I only had to pay a dollar! When I took the style quiz my outcome was "classic with a twist". The packaging of the items was so cute and done very well! The box was filled with red and gold little papers (what are they called?) and it just made it look so fancy an a lot of thought and preparation went into it.

Now, what came in my box. I received a little chocolate "oscar", top coat for hair which is supposed to give your hair protection and sheen just like a nail top coat would, and then two nail polishes in the colors Meryl and Oscar. Meryl is a lovely flat grey creme which I love and was super excited to receive and Oscar is a gorgeous gold glitter! I'm a sucker for glitter! Below are pictures of everything in my box!

The most amazing thing about Julep is that their products don't contain carcinogens which include formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, and DBP.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Go for the Gold

Hi! Well, as you can probably tell this is my first post!
I'm pretty excited to get started with this! I've been planning on
starting a nail art blog for a loooong time. I finally just went for it!
Bug, I don't want to be boring and have this post filled with words about my life
and what I'm made of and whatnot. So, let's jump right into the nailart!
This week I did a really simple nail look where I used OPI Designer..De Better
and OPI Spark De Triomphe.
As you can see, the one on the left (Designer de Better) is more of a metallic taupe shade while
the one on the right (Spark de Triomphe) is a gold glitter polish.

What I did was painted my nails with a base coat then two coats of Designer De Better. Once that was dry, I added one coat of Spark De Triomphe which just gave it a brilliant dimensional shine.
Thanks for visiting!
